Grand jury refuses to re-indict NY AG Letitia James
We are now learning that the Justice Department has failed this week to secure a new indictment against New York Attorney General Letitia James. This comes after a judge previously dismissed the mortgage fraud prosecution encouraged by President Donald Trump, according to a person familiar with the matter. Reports indicate that prosecutors went back to a grand jury in Virginia after a judge's ruling halting the prosecution of James and FBI Director James Comey. The judge made the ruling on the grounds that the U.S. attorney who presented the cases was illegally appointed.
