CA raises wage for fast-food workers to $20/hour

California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a law that increases the minimum wage for fast-food workers in the state to $20 per hour. The new wage takes effect on April 1, 2024, and applies to workers at restaurants that have at least 60 locations nationwide.
