More airstrikes as Gaza cease-fire talks continue

An Israel airstrike in Gaza killed at least 18 members of the same family on Saturday. The strike came just hours after optimistic messages of hope for a cease-fire deal between Israel and Hamas after 10 months of war. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said Saturday that approximately 55 "aerial projectiles" were fired at northern Israel from Hezbollah in Lebanon, sparking multiple fires across the region. A joint statement by mediators the United States, Egypt and Qatar says they expect to work out implementation details next week in Cairo.
