Tampa PD launches 'operation countdown to safety'

Beginning Friday, December 29, 2023, the Tampa Police Department will be increasing patrol efforts that will be focused on holding intoxicated drivers and those with reckless resolutions accountable. Operation Countdown to Safety is a Tampa Police Department initiative that is geared towards promoting responsible New Year celebrations.
