Suspect killed after climbing atop of school

The Wisconsin Department of Justice says a person was shot and killed after exchanging gunfire with officers at a Germantown school. According to police the incident began during after school hours, but while students were still on campus participating in after school sports. When police arrived, they say the suspect climbed onto the roof of the school. Officials say the suspect then fired at officers as the followed, and the officers returned fire where the suspect was killed.
