Hurricane Hilary: Power outages

Officials with emergency services and San Diego Gas & Electric warn that power outages should be expected as the San Diego area braces for high winds and heavy rain from a fast-approaching tropical storm. "Rainfall impacts from Hilary within the Southwestern United States are expected to peak this weekend into Monday," the NHC said in an advisory. "Flash, urban and arroyo flooding is possible with the potential for significant impacts."
