Activist Mahmoud Khalil returns home after release

A Palestinian activist who participated in protests against Israel has been freed from federal immigration detention after 104 days. Mahmoud Khalil left a federal facility in Louisiana on Friday, arriving at Newark Liberty International Airport on Saturday afternoon, where he spoke to reporters alongside his attorney and Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).
