Israel to expand ground operations in Gaza

Israel's PM Benjamin Netanyahu has a approved plans to expand ground operations in Gaza. Israeli officials saying as long as Hamas doesn't release the hostages, Israel will deepen military action in Gaza. This comes as the conflict in the middle east continues to extend outside of Gaza and into Syria and Lebanon. Meanwhile calls for President Trump to speak directly with the Hamas terror group are piling up. Jonathan Schanzer, President of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies weighs in.
