NYC Weather: Officials 'better prepared' to deal with Nor'easter compared to Ida remnants

Flash Flood Watches are in effect for the entire Tri-State Region as a storm is bringing lots of rain. Flash Flood Warnings are in effect for portions of New Jersey. Nearly two months ago the remnants of Hurricane Ida sent water gushing into the subway system in NYC. While MTA officials don't expect this storm to bring that volume of rain, they are 'better prepared'. NJ Gov. Phil Murphy and New York Gov. Kathy Hochul each declared a state of emergency for their respective states.
