Trump warns Venezuelan airspace 'closed'
President Trump posted on Truth Social: "To all Airlines, Pilots, Drug Dealers, and Human Traffickers, please consider THE AIRSPACE ABOVE AND SURROUNDING VENEZUELA TO BE CLOSED IN ITS ENTIRETY. Thank you for your attention to this matter! PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP." Trump's message comes about a week after the FAA warned airlines about flying over Venezuela. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth posted on X: "Biden coddled terrorists, we kill them," in a post defending the Trump administration's strikes on alleged drug vessels in the Caribbean Sea." Hegseth's message came after reports claimed the U.S. military ordered a second strike on a suspected drug vessel in the Caribbean back on September 2nd.
