Texas Dems hold press conference after arrest order

Texas House Democrats held a press conference Monday in Illinois after Gov. Greg Abbott (R) issued a warrant for their arrest and said he will begin trying to remove them from office if they fail to return to Texas. Dozens of state Democrats fled the state in an attempt to avoid a vote on a redrawn electoral map. President Trump and other members of the Republican Party are seeking this redistricting ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.
