LA City Council upholds decision to fire fire chief

The Los Angeles City Council voted to uphold Mayor Karen Bass' decision to fire former Fire Chief Kristin Crowley. Crowley had appealed the dismissal, which stemmed from her handling of the Palisades Fire. Crowley needed at least 10 votes to overturn the decision but received only 2.
