Maine police search for suspect after mall shooting

The South Portland Police were searching the Maine Mall for an individual suspected of shooting another individual Wednesday inside the mall. The preliminary investigation suggests that this is an isolated incident. Police do not believe the public is at risk, but they ask members of the public to avoid the area while they conduct the search. South Portland Fire & Rescue transported one individual to Maine Medical Center. The individual's condition is unknown at this time.
