Pentagon: humanitarian aid pier construction has begun

U.S. military personnel began construction of a temporary pier off the coast of Gaza. When it is completed, the pier will facilitate delivery of an estimated 90 truckloads of international aid into Gaza, according to the U.S. Department of Defense.
