Cuba: Boat from Florida opened fire on soldiers

We are getting the latest information tonight after Cuba's government said Wednesday that the 10 passengers on a boat that opened fire on its soldiers were armed Cubans living in the United States. They went on to claim that the passengers were trying to infiltrate the island and unleash terrorism. According to Cuban officials, the incident occurred on the morning of Feb. 25, 2026, near the El Pino channel in Cayo Falcones, located within the Villa Clara province.
