Second Iowa native among "Epic Fury" casualties

A second Iowan was identified Wednesday as one of the six casualties of Sunday's Iranian airstrike in Kuwait. All six of the fallen soldiers were assigned to the 103rd Sustainment Command out of Des Moines, including Iowa natives Sgt. Declan Coady, of West Des Moines, and Maj. Jeffrey O'Brien, of Waukee. Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds addressed the media Thursday morning, describing the deaths as a "sobering reminder that our freedom is not free" while conveying her support for Operation Epic Fury.
