DHS agents detain student at Columbia University

On Thursday, a student at Columbia University was arrested by Federal immigration authorities in New York City. The arrest led to campus protests and claims that agents improperly entered the university residence, reportedly under false pretenses. Following the arrest, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani posted on X that the student was expected to be released "imminently."
