Montana GOP Sen. Steve Daines won't seek reelection

Republican Montana Senator Steve Daines will not seek re-election, saying he plans to retire in a post on X. Daines said in a video statement that after "much careful thought, I've decided not to seek re-election." Utah GOP Congressman Burgess Owens also announced on Wednesday that he would not seek reelection this cycle.
