Reaction after Rubio briefs Congress on Iran strikes

We are now hearing from a number of lawmakers after a briefing between Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the Gang of Eight regarding this past weekend’s military operations in Iran. The Gang of Eight is a group of leaders from the House and Senate along with chairs and ranking members of the intelligence committees who are regularly spoken to about ongoing military campaigns. U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson spoke in defense of the recent strikes on Iran while Senator Mark Warner, a Democrat from Virginia, offered a more critical view.
