Iranian made drone hits British Air Base
A drone strike struck a British air base in Cyprus, causing minor damage and no casualties, Cypriot and British officials said Monday, marking an escalation that has drawn a member of the European Union into tensions linked to Iran. The attack hit a runway at RAF Akrotiri, a base operated by the Royal Air Force, shortly after midnight, rattling the eastern Mediterranean island.
