DeSantis gives $1,000 to first responders from Surfside condo collapse
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis appeared in Surfside near Miami Beach to thank first responders who assisted in the condominium collapse at Champlain Towers South. The governor also announced that each first responder would receive a $1,000 check for their work in helping to clear the rubble from the collapse.
