Bees sting female hiker on side of Phoenix mountain leading to rescue effort

Initial reports indicate a female adult hiker has been stung by bees near the top of the mountain in the Phoenix, AZ area. Technical Rescue Teams were able to reach the patient, where she is currently stable and being evaluated by paramedics. Crews formulated a plan to safely and quickly extricate the patient off of the mountain. Temperatures in the Phoenix area on Wednesday afternoon were in the high triple digits.
