President Trump speaks to President Putin

On Wednesday, President Donald Trump said that he spoke with President Vladimir Putin over the phone regarding the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, as well as concerns with Iran's nuclear program. In a post on Truth Social, President Trump said in part, "It was a good conversation, but not a conversation that will lead to immediate Peace. President Putin did say, and very strongly, that he will have to respond to the recent attack on the airfield." Those recent attacks include a covert operation from Ukrainian forces over the weekend that destroyed nearly a third of Moscow's bomber fleet.
