Israel accepts US proposal for a temporary ceasefire

The White House announced Thursday that Israel has agreed to a new U.S. backed proposal for a temporary ceasefire with Hamas. This follows optimistic remarks earlier in the week from President Donald Trump?s special envoy, Steve Witkoff.
