Wildfires update: NJ fire spreads to NY

A New York State parks employee died after battling a wildfire in the New York metro area. A wildfire started in Passaic County and then spread to Sterling Forest, according to police. Police say 18-year-old Dariel Vasquez died after battling a fire. He was a Parks and Recreation Aid employee. Air quality alerts currently remain in effect through Sunday for New York City residents.
