Ex-Proud Boys leader sentenced to 22 years

Former Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio was sentenced to 22 years in prison for his role in the storming of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. Tarrio was found guilty of seditious conspiracy. Tarrio spoke in court, apologizing to members of law enforcement. He said that inflicting harm or changing the results of the election were not his goal. Despite not being in Washington, D.C., at the time of the riot, prosecutors successfully argued that Tarrio was integral in planning for the Proud Boys. More LiveNOW from FOX streaming video
