Officer murdered in ambush had 'no chance,' Detroit police chief says

Detroit police are outraged after Officer Loren Courts was shot and killed in the line of duty on Wednesday night after responding to a call of shots fired in the community. Police Chief James White says the officer was ambushed and was murdered for simply doing his job. The 19-year-old suspect was fatally shot by the fallen officer's partner and died at the scene, police said.
