Kim Potter defense: Daunte Wright caused his own death

Defense attorneys for Kim Potter, on trial for the shooting death of Daunte Wright, told jurors during their closing argument that Wright is responsible for his own death based on his actions during the traffic stop. The defense argued that Potter made a mistake but did not commit a crime when she shot and killed Wright, believing the other officers were at risk of serious injury or death. Potter could get up to 15 years in prison if convicted of the top manslaughter charge.
