We are learning more about FIFA’s previous attempts to ban the pre-revolutionary Iranian flag from official matches at the World Cup. However, fans who surrounded Los Angeles Stadium for Iran’s last World Cup game showed up with the flags regardless. This comes as Iran is set to take on Egypt for another match in Seattle on Friday.
