LiveNOW’s Austin Westfall is speaking with David Sentendrey from FOX 4 Dallas after federal authorities charged nine individuals in connection with the violent armed robbery and kidnapping of three people at a Dallas music studio. Rappers Pooh Shiesty and BIG30 are among the nine charged for allegedly orchestrating the robbery and kidnapping. According to our partners at FOX 4 Dallas, authorities believe the motive behind the incident was related to fellow rapper Gucci Mane, whose real name is Radric Davis. 

We are now watching as the Fort Worth Police Department provides an update and shares body camera video of an officer-involved shooting that happened last week. Chief Eddie Garcia answered questions about the shooting during a news conference on Monday. According to police, the shooting happened on Wednesday after officers were called to the River Oaks neighborhood because of a domestic disturbance. We are now learning that a suspect is dead after a shootout with Houston police on Wednesday. According to local police, they received a call just before 4 p.m. related to a suspicious man in the southern part of the city. The caller said the man had a purse and a handgun. According to our partners at FOX 26 Houston, authorities say there were several rounds of gunfire exchanged as a responding officer took cover behind a patrol vehicle. It is now being reported that the officer rendered first aid to the suspect after the altercation, but the suspect died on the scene.
