WASHINGTON - Republican Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., introduced a resolution on Tuesday to impeach Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.

Massie read eight articles of impeachment against Hegseth on the House floor, claiming the defense secretary violated the War Powers Resolution of 1973 in Iran and for his role in the operation that led to former Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro’s capture and extradition.

Massie accuses Hegseth of abusing power
