DHS Secretary Noem posting a this statement on X: "Today in Chicago, members of our brave law enforcement were attacked?rammed and boxed in by ten vehicles, including an attacker with a semi-automatic weapon. I am deploying more special operations to control the scene. Reinforcements are on their way. If you see a law enforcement officer today, thank them." The woman Noem is refers to in the post was shot during the clash.

Leavitt says the President is working hard to reopen the government and that she hopes the democrats will reach a vote today that could make that happen. Leaavitt says that White House takes no joy in laying people off but in government you have to make tough decisions.

Video shows the moment U.S. forces conducted a strike Friday morning against an alleged drug boat off the coast of Venezuela, according to an X post by Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth. Four were killed in the strike. In his post, Hegseth said that “our intelligence, without a doubt, confirmed that this vessel was trafficking narcotics, the people onboard were narco-terrorists, and they were operating on a known narco-trafficking transit route.”
