Criminal probe launched into Sloth World Orlando

Florida officials are investigating the deaths of at least 31 sloths at the now-closed Sloth World attraction on International Drive, with AG James Uthmeier assigning a statewide prosecutor with animal welfare expertise to assist the Ninth Circuit State Attorney’s Office. State Rep. Anna Eskamani has also pushed for accountability and policy changes following the deaths, which have drawn scrutiny over the treatment and sourcing of the animals. Rep. Anna Eskamani joined LiveNOW from FOX's Josh Breslow to discuss the ongoing investigation and its broader implications.
