US reaches 60-day deadline amid Iran war

The US has reached the 60-day deadline to get approval from congress to continue the war with Iran. Meanwhile, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has argued that the clock has paused on a deadline for the Trump administration to seek that approval. This comes as the war also rages on in the Middle East. The Israeli Defense Forces said in Southern Lebanon 40+ infrastructure sites were dismantled. Among the targets struck were command centers, military structures and more. Marc Chandler with Coastal Carolina weighs in.
