The United States is set to launch a new phase of Venezuela-related operations in the coming days, according to a report from Reuters Saturday evening. Two U.S. officials told Reuters that "covert operations" would likely be the first part of the next phase against Venezuela and President Nicolas Maduro's government, and overthrowing Maduro is being considered as an option.
