Israel-Hamas: U.S. Envoy Witkoff meets with Netanyahu

On Thursday, President Donald Trump's Middle Eastern Envoy Steve Witkoff traveled to Jerusalem to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Their meeting comes a week after Witkoff quickly ended Gaza ceasefire talks with mediators in Qatar, stating that, "Hamas does not appear to be coordinated or acting in good faith." Witkoff and Netanyahu are expected to discuss next steps in order to release the remaining hostages from Hamas captivity, as well as the growing humanitarian crisis in Gaza. World leaders have continued to mount pressure for an end to the war given the risk of famine in the area cited by several international organizations. LiveNOW from FOX's Josh Breslow spoke with Ben Cohen, rapid response director at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, to discuss the latest developments.
