Trump admin confirms plans to reopen Alcatraz Island

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum toured Alcatraz Island on Thursday. At the direction of President Donald Trump, the infamous former prison in San Francisco could be brought back into use as a high-security federal detention center.
