MD Senator flys to El Salvador to visit deported man

Mayrland Senator Chris Van Hollen is officially on his way to El Salvador to check on the Maryland father mistakenly deported by the Trump administration. Last month, Kilmar Abrego Garcia was arrested and placed on a flight to a notorious Salvadoran prison camp — despite being legally protected against deportation to El Salvador by a 2019 court order. The Supreme Court has unanimously ordered that he be returned to the U.S. which the Trump adminstration says it is complying with.
