Trump holds news conference with Israeli PM Netanyahu
President Donald Trump met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on Tuesday as the first foreign leader to visit in Trump’s second term. During the joint news conference, Trump said he wants the U.S. to take ownership of the Gaza Strip and redevelop it after Palestinians are resettled elsewhere. Netanyahu also praised Trump's leadership in sealing the hostage and ceasefire deal, which went into effect the day before Trump took office.
