Hurricane Ian one year later

Thursday marks one year since Hurricane Ian made landfall in the U.S., as the fifth strongest hurricane to ever hit the country. Ian slammed, into Florida’s southwest coast as a category 4 storm sending nearly 13-feet of storm surge through barrier islands and beach towns, leaving a 50-mile path of destruction stretching from south of Fort Myers to north Charlotte Harbor. Now one year later Floridians are continuing to pick up the pieces in the midst of yet another storm season.
