Dallas area police shootings: 2 suspects shot in separate incidents

A Dallas police officer shot a man who led police on a brief chase in a stolen U-Haul. Police say the suspect then intentionally rammed into a DPD vehicle and took off. The suspect then got out of the truck and ran on foot. An officer ran after the suspect, and the suspect shot at the officer. The officer returned fire, hitting the suspect in the leg. The suspect was taken into custody and to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. In a separate incident, Cedar Hill police say they stopped a man who fired shots inside a medical building. When officers arrived, they saw a suspect with a long gun and a gunshot victim on the ground in front of the Methodist Family Health Center. The suspect left the medical clinic in a car that he crashed into another vehicle. Several officers on the scene of the crash saw the suspect inside the vehicle with a long gun, and five officers shot at him. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition. A physician from the medical building was also taken to the hospital in stable condition and yhe driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash had minor injuries.
