Montana lawmaker Zooey Zephyr barred from house floor for rest of 2023 session | LiveNOW from FOX

Montana State House votes to bar Rep. Zooey Zephyr, a Democratic, transgender lawmaker, for rest of 2023 session. Zephyr was notified the night before that House leaders would consider disciplinary action, according to a Twitter post by the lawmaker. The Montana State House's decision to remove Zephyr from the floor comes after Republican lawmakers accused her of presenting "hate-filled testimony" while debating a bill that would ban transgender medical care for minors. Speaker of the House Matt Regier said Zephyr violated the rules of the chamber and ordered she apologize. Zephyr refused to apologize, saying she stands by her comments.
