Arizona Midterm Election: Cochise County certifies election results after judge's order | LiveNOW from FOX
Cochise County has certified the 2022 Election by court order, ending the week-long legal saga. The vote was 2-0. Democrat Chairman Ann English and Republican Vice-Chairman Peggy Judd approved the vote, but Republican Supervisor Tom Crosby was absent from the meeting, even though he was mandated to attend by the judge. Cochise was the only county to not canvass the election by the November 28 deadline. The Cochise County board tried to hire an attorney for the hearing, but counsel did not make it in time and the board was required to represent themselves. The attorney the board hired petitioned for the case to be moved to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arizona, which does not exist.

Student loan payment pause extended while debt relief program is tied up in court | LiveNOW from FOX
The White House is extending the pause on federal student loan payments through the end of June 2023 in an effort to "alleviate uncertainty" for borrowers as the Biden administration battles at the Supreme Court to put President Joe Biden?s student loan handout into effect. President Biden announced in August that he will hand out $10,000 of federal student loan debt relief for certain borrowers making less than $125,000 per year and up to $20,000 for Pell Grant recipients. President Biden said he is "confident" that his "student debt relief plan is legal." The announcement comes after the Biden administration last week filed an emergency appeal to the Supreme Court, asking to preserve its order to cancel student loan debt. The Justice Department asked the high court to block previous rulings out of Texas and Missouri that ruled the program unconstitutional.
