The 'Happy Face' serial killer Keith Jesperson would like to be cellmates with Bryan Kohberger, who was convicted of murdering four Idaho college students in 2022. Jesperson says that Kohberger would be safer at his max security prison in Oregon than any other facility due to the high profile nature of the case. ""In the general population, he will be singled out right away to be made a target for those who see him as weak for the crimes of that kind of murder," Jesperson wrote in a letter to Keith Rovere, a former prison minister, that was shared with Fox News Digital. "Most likely, Idaho will put him in protective custody like [Jeffrey] Dahmer. But we all know how that ended." Kohberger was convicted for the stabbing murders of Madison Mogen, 21, Kaylee Gonclaves, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20 and Ethan Chapin, 20.
