Officials held a new conference regarding the captured escapee inmate Derrick Groves in Atlanta on Wednesday. According to Deputy U.S. Marshal Brian Fair, Derrick Groves was the last of 10 inmates who escaped the Orleans Parish jail in May.

The last remaining escapee, who was part of a group of New Orleans inmates that escaped jail earlier this year, was involved in a standoff with Atlanta law enforcement. Derrick Groves was taken into custody on Wednesday after a five-month manhunt. Orleans Parish district attorney Jason Williams provides recent updates regarding the capture.
