We are learning more as Jennifer L. Homendy, Chairwoman of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) held a press conference at LaGuardia Airport after Air Canada Express Flight 8646 struck a rescue vehicle after landing. United States Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy confirmed earlier on Monday that 72 passengers and 4 crew members were on the plane. Port Authority Director Kathryn Garcia previously said, "It has been over 34 years since we'd had an incident with a death at the airport."
