Three people are dead and three were injured following a shooting in a Spotsylvania County neighborhood, the Sheriff's Office has confirmed. According to officials, the shooting happened around 5:30 p.m. in the area of Olde Greenwich Circle. When they arrived, deputies found six shooting victims. Three people have been declared dead and three other victims have been transported to the hospital. The conditions of the injured victims are not known at this time. Officials also do not know the ages of the victims yet. The Sheriff's Office says the investigation is active and fluid. At this time, no suspects have been taken into custody.

Opening statements are underway in Lori Vallow Daybell's murder conspiracy trial in Phoenix, Arizona. The so-called "Doomsday Mom" is representing herself in the trial. Vallow Daybell is accused of planning the death of her then-husband, Charles Vallow.

NYPD said a man slashed four children with a meat cleaver before being shot by police in Brooklyn. The deranged attacker was lunged at police with a weapon prior to being shot. Police say the victims range in age between 8 and 16.

Opening statements are scheduled to begin Monday in an Arizona case against Lori Daybell, who was charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree murder in the death of her fourth husband, Charles Vallow. The $75 million lawsuit alleges county-appointed monitors had been accused of abusing their own children while working for the county, and allowed abuse to take place while supervising family visits.

Adolfo Serrano was found guilty Thursday of first-degree felony intoxication manslaughter in the 2022 death of a Harris County, Texas, deputy sheriff. Harris County Precinct 7 Deputy Constable Jennifer Chavis died after Serrano was driving drunk and ran into the back of her patrol car, officials said. The trial began Monday and closing arguments were given Thursday. The jury deliberated for less than one hour.
