Trump: 'Freedom 250 Grand Prix' coming to D.C. streets

President Trump signed an executive order on Friday to bring an IndyCar race to the streets of Washington, D.C. this summer as part of the America's 250th birthday celebration. The race, which will be called the "Freedom 250 Grand Prix" will take place in August. The route is slated to take place near the National Mall -- which IndyCar, the Department of Transportation, the Department of the Interior and D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser's office. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy was in the Oval Office as Trump signed the order, as well as IndyCar owner Roger Penske. Secretary of the Interior Doug Bergum was also appointed to help lead the planning efforts.
