Malaysia plans social media ban for those under 16

The Asian nation would join Australia and a growing list of countries who are looking to tighten digital age limits for children. The announcement comes as Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil said this weekend that the Cabinet approved the move as part of a broader effort to protect young people across the country from cyberbullying and other types of online harm.
