Tuesday is National Taco Day, and restaurants across the country are serving up special deals and discounts for taco fans.
While the holiday used to fall on October 4, it’s now celebrated on the first Tuesday of October, ensuring it always lines up with Taco Tuesday, according to Taco Bell and the National Day Calendar.

Taco Bell
Taco Bell is rolling out multiple Tuesday Drops featuring $1 Cantina Chicken Soft Tacos at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m., and 5 p.m. PT — plus exclusive merch and a chance to win a year’s worth of Taco Tuesday drops with a $160 gift card, all available in the Taco Bell app.
From 9 AM to 7 PM PDT, Taco Bell Rewards Members can unlock limited drops throughout the day on the Taco Bell app to celebrate:

Chuy’s
The popular Tex-Mex chain, with over 100 locations nationwide, is celebrating National Taco Day with special deals — enjoy a $1 taco with any entrée purchase and add a $1 tequila or rum floater to your margarita. Plus, anyone who dresses like a taco or sports a "taco-inspired" costume will receive a free entrée.
El Pollo Loco
Now through Tuesday, Oct. 7, Loco Rewards members can enjoy any three chicken tacos for just $5.
Moe’s Southwest Grill
On October 7, celebrate National Taco Day with $2 tacos at participating locations. The offer is valid for up to three single tacos (excluding add-ons, extras, and premium proteins) and can be redeemed in-store or online with a Moe Rewards account.
Nestlé
Celebrate National Taco Day with dessert by entering to win a free limited-edition Nestlé Toll House Cookie Taco kit on October 7 at 2 p.m. ET.
